In 2022, CAT (Common Admission Test) is going to be conducted by IIM Ahmedabad. The exam will be held on 27 November 2022 (Tentative). Millions of students have applied for the exam & Waiting for the Hall ticket. IIM Ahmedabad released some important instructions for the exam, In which they have open the correction window for the applicants who can modify their forms. The Correction link will be shared at the end of this post. It should be noted that students can only able to modify their Photograph, Signature, and Test City Preferences on the official website of CAT i.e. iimcat.ac.in. Moreover, From this year Srinagar is also added as a centre option. So the student can change their preference now easily.

CAT Calendar 2022: Exam, Admit card and Exam Centres

The online registration for the IIM Common Admission Test exam will begins soon. Approximately 1.6 million students expected to applied for the exam. This year the CAT 2022 exam will be conducted in an online mode. The exam would be Computer Based Test. This exam will be conducted in 400 exam centres across 159 cities. You can check your exam centre & exam time on your admit card easily.

The CAT exam pattern is revised after 5 years. This time Students will get 60 minutes less time. Earlier each section’s time limit was 60 minutes, but now it is 40 minutes. There is a total of 3 sections which means now students get 120 minutes total time period to solve the paper. Also Earlier The Pwd candidates got 20 minutes extra time for each section but from now onward they will get 13.20 minutes extra time for every section. In short, they will get 30 minutes extra to solve the whole exam than unreserved candidates.

CAT Exam Pattern 2022-23: Section-wise Exam duration

As per the new exam pater, The students have to complete their exam in 2 hours except for Pwd candidates they have to complete their exam before 2.5 hours. The exam duration is divided into sections wise. IIM ahmedabad would design the exam in 3 sections which consist of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. Now you know the new exam pattern for the common entrance test released by the IIM Ahmedabad. The total 76 questions consist of 228 marks where each right question would be rewarded as +3 marks & -1 marks for each negative mark. Section-wise Positive & Regitve marking is given below.

How to do CAT 2022 Corrections in the Application form?

If you have uploaded the wrong photograph of your face & your signature then you can easily update your Photographs by following some basic steps. Now students can also change their examination centres.

1. open the official website – iimcat.ac.in.
2. Now at you can see the Student login section.
3. You can log in there with your username ID & password followed by captcha verification.
4. Now select your application form & Click on edit.
5. Now do the necessary Modification on your Application forms and hit submit button.
6. Also, don’t forget to take the print of your final application forms for further reference.

Required Signature & Photograph image Format, Size for the CAT application forms:-

• For signature: The format of the signature should be in JPG/ JPEG format. The size of the image should be less than 80KB and the dimension should be in a prescribed manner 80 mm (width) x 35 mm (height) with 150 px/ inch (min) image resolution.
• For Photograph: The format of passport photograph should be in JPG/ JPEG format. The size of the image should be less than 80KB and the dimension should be in a prescribed manner i.e. 30 mm (width) x 45 mm (height) with 150 px/ inch (min) image resolution.

This year IIM Ahmedabad bad would conduct the exam in Covid-19 Protocol & regulation set by the Government of India. All the student are requested to visit the examination centre with their ID card, Admit card, mask & sanitizer.
