IPL Mega Auction 2022 New Retention Rules
This time BCCI Brings the changes in the retention rules, which is already informed to all 8 old teams and the two new teams there will be other rules because they can’t retain players so the rule differs for them.
Here is what the new retention rules say, Each team can retain a maximum of 4 players where 3 players should be Indian and 1 Foreign player. There is also no RTM cards this time and the new team can buy 3 players as a retain player from 1 December to 30 December 2021 from the remaining player’s list and the purchasing should be less than Rs 33 Crore.
BCCI also set the minimum purse limit that should be 90 crores then recall letter and it is now 85 crore. All the franchises will have a 30 November deadline to provide their retention player list. Here we also mentioned all retain player teams wise name and price.
