How to calculate neet marks
If you want to calculate your estimated marks of neet ug exam before releasing the result then, with the help of the answer key you can calculate marks by following below easy steps
- Tally your Answers with NEET Official answer key
- Count the total Correct and Incorrect questions ( if you mark more than 1 answer for a single question Considered that question with zero marks)
- For every correct answer count 4 marks and for each wrong answer 1 negative marks
- Do some of the total marks that will be your estimated scores
Note: After neet release official notification you can also raise objection on or before the last date.
NEET New tie-breaker rulesΒ
- If two candidates score the same marks, a tie-breaker formula will be used by NTA to calculate their marks. A candidate who has got higher marks in Biology will get preference in ranking.
- If the tie still exists, the marks of candidates in chemistry will get preference.
- If the tie still persists, the candidates with fewer incorrect answers in all papers will be ranked higher.
Neet 2022 Result, Counseling, Cutoff
The NTA is going to announce the neet result 2022. After the result, the NTA will conduct the counselling event. On the basis of the cutoff, NTA will allot the medical college to the student. You can check out last year’s cutoff & percentile for the reference purpose only. It should be noted that the Cutoff percentile criteria would be the same for the 2022 batch.

You need atleast a <48k rank to get a government college
No…it mean if you get marks more then cut off marks u are eligible for admission in private medical colleges but to get a government medical colleges u probably need to get marks greater then 500 or 550 (depending on the state or UT you belong)
Lets assume u are a general category student and if u are looking for a government college (medical) u would have to be in the top 10000 rank
That is u would have to score 600 – 650+ to get into mbbs
That 146 -113 is passing marks for the examination if u get 146 u would not even get into ayurveda leave alone mbbs
