JEE Main 2022: Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is mainly conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). Applicants who want to take admission in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) courses will have to appear in Paper-1 and those who want to take admission in Architecture (B.Arch/B.Planning) courses will have to appear in the Paper-2. Every year a lot of applicants appear in this national level exam to get admission in 31 NITs, 18 IIITs and 18 GFTIs, these are the participating institutes of JEE Main. Age Limit: No Age Limit
Note: Date of birth as recorded in the secondary school certificate (10th class) will be considered only.

• Year of Appearance for Class 12th or Equivalent Examination: Only those applicants, who have passed their class 12th exam or any other equivalent examination in 2020, 2021; or those applicants, who are appearing in their class 12th exam or any other equivalent examination in 2022, are eligible to appear in Joint Entrance Examination Main 2022.
• Number of Subjects in Class 12th or Equivalent Examination: Applicants must have taken at-least five subjects in class 12th or equivalent examination.
• Number of Attempts: unlimited (no attempt limit)

JEE Main 2022 Application Form

Applying for JEE Main: Interested and eligible applicants can apply for Joint Entrance Examination Main 2022 through online mode only on the official website of Joint Entrance Examination Main (jeemain.nta.nic.in).

Note: For applying for JEE Main 2022 “AADHAAR Card” is required.

Mode of Fee Payment: Fee can be paid either by Net banking, UPI, Google pay, Credit / Debit card or thru e-challan. In case of e-challan, the payment should be made in Syndicate / Canara / ICICI / HDFC Bank.

JEE Main 2022 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

• Paper-1 is for engineering (B.E/B.Tech).
• The paper-1 will be conducted online and offline. But applicants allow to choose only one exam mode.
• JEE Main paper-1 will be objective type.
• The question paper of JEE Main Paper-1 will be available in Hindi and in English. However, applicants who write the exam in Gujarat, Daman Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli will be able to write the exam in Gujarati as well. Applicants have to fill out the language of the question paper while filling the application form.
• Duration of exam will be 3 hours but for the person with 40% or more disability, duration of the exam will be 4 hour for them.
• There will be negative marking of 1/4 marks for each wrong answer.

• Paper-2 is for architecture (B.Arch/B.Planning).

• The paper-2 will be conducted offline mode only.

• JEE Main Paper-2 will be objective type.

• The question paper of JEE Main Paper-II will be available in Hindi and in English. However, applicants who write the exam in Gujarat, Daman Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli will be able to write the exam in Gujarati as well. Applicants have to fill the language of the question paper while filling the application form.

• Duration of exam will be 3 hours but for the person with 40% or more disability, duration of exam will be 4 hour for them.

JEE Main 2022 Admit Card

The admit card of Joint Entrance Examination Main 2022 will be issued on the official website of JEE Main. Joint Entrance Examination Main 2022 Admit Card will be available online only. Applicants have to download their admit card from the official website of Joint Entrance Examination Main or applicants can also download Joint Entrance Examination Main 2022 Admit Card from this website. Applicants are required to carry their admit card on the day of examination.

JEE Main 2022 Answer Key

National test agency NTA will release the official answer key of Joint Entrance Examination Main 2022. NTA (National Testing Agency) will upload the answer key on the official website of Joint Entrance Examination Main. Answer key will be released for both Paper-1 and Paper-2 (All sets).

JEE Main 2022 Cut Off

Joint Entrance Exam Main 2022 Cut Off will be announced by NTA. The minimum marks will be decided by the NTA. To qualify the exam applicants need to score equal to or more than the cut off. The cut off marks will be different for each category.

JEE Main 2022 Result

The result of Joint Entrance Examination Main 2022 will be released in two parts. Part-I will consist of the marks obtained by the applicant in the examination. And Part-II will reveal the All India Rank (AIR) of the applicants. The seat will be allotted on the basis of merit obtained by the applicant.

JEE Main 2022 Counselling Procedure

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority, commonly known as JoSAA, will conduct counseling for admission to IITs, ISM Dhanbad, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes).
